As an internationally recognized and respected “how to” coach in the trade show industry, Susan Friedmann, Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), was driven by an authentic desire to help companies harness the marketing power of trade shows.

With more than 20 years of experience as a successful speaker, consultant, and author, Susan leveraged her unique multidisciplinary experience to design and execute innovative strategies to help organizations meet their trade show objectives.

She was a highly sought-after trainer, high-content speaker, and thought leader. Susan has conducted numerous presentations and workshops for organizations worldwide. She also appeared as a guest expert on CNN’s Financial Network and Bloomberg’s Small Business. Susan’s insightful takes on the trade show industry were regularly featured in numerous professional and trade publications. 

Susan is an acclaimed non-fiction writer with a bibliography of ten books. Her book, “Meeting & Event Planning for Dummies,” is a 2003 publication that veteran event planners highly recommend. 

As a prolific publisher, Susan has numerous high-value publications in her catalog. Her publication, Secrets of Successful Exhibiting, is a set of three books with powerful strategies and insights to help improve a company’s exhibiting success. The acclaimed series has more than 30,000 copies in print. 

She is known for her high energy, hands-on and leadership style. Susan was a National Board Director of the National Speakers Association, a past president of the American Marketing Association – Cincinnati Chapter, a former adjunct faculty member at San Francisco State University, and a former contract speaker for Fred Pryor Seminars. 

Originally from London, England, Susan currently resides in the United States and has spent time working as a literacy volunteer for the Federal Bureau of Prisons, practicing yoga and hiking.
